The dollar-to-dirham rate is the most-checked rate in the UAE — and the calmest, because it barely moves.

The dirham is pegged to the US dollar at 3.6725 by the Central Bank of the UAE, a rate in force since 1997. So USD→AED sits at almost exactly that number day after day — the flat line you see is the peg working, not missing data.

The peg also means the dirham travels with the dollar: when the US dollar strengthens or weakens against other currencies, the dirham moves with it. So the dirham’s rate against the euro, the rupee or the pound is really a US-dollar story.
