The founder
currency.ae was founded by Khaled Al Huraimel — an Emirati business leader who has lived, worked, and built businesses across many countries. Since 2009 he has led BEEAH Group as Group Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman, transforming it from a traditional waste-management company into a regional sustainability and technology platform operating across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt — from clean energy and smart cities to AI-enabled services and data infrastructure. He has founded technology ventures including Evoteq, re.life, ION, and BEDU, and serves on the boards of Dar Al Aqar, United Arab Bank, and the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
